"Brotdose" - so heissen diese Dosen, weil sie ursprünglich für den Transport von Proviant unterwegs gedacht waren. Heute nimmt man dafür meist Kunststoffbehälter.

Diese Dosen haben stattdessen eine grosse Karriere als Behältniss für: Reparatursets, Erste-Hilfe-Sets oder Survival-Sets gemacht. Hierfür sind sie sehr gut geeignet, da sehr stabil, geräumig, und mit einem Dichttape auch gegen eindringende Feuchtigkeit gut zu dichten.

Es gibt die Dosen in zwei Grössen, die kleinere auch in einer zweiten Version mit Griffbügel (dessen Funktion uns aber nicht ganz klar ist... eventuell kann diese Dose auch als Kochgefäss oder Schöpfgefäss dienen...)
